Deccan Festival
Hyderabad FestivalsDeccan Festival, the prime most festival of Hyderabad is held in on 25th February every year. Lumbini FestivalHyderabad Festivals
To show respect to the Buddhist Heritage of Andhra Pradesh, this festival is celebrated in Nagarjuna Sagar and Hyderabad from the second Friday of December month every year. It lasts for three days. While visiting Hyderabad in this festival one will have the insight of the Buddhist heritage of the city.


Makara Sankranti
Hyderabad FestivalsIn mid January this harvest festival is celebrated in Hyderabad and other regions of India. It is celebrated for three days with great pomp and show. Shia community of Muslims celebrates this festival to honor the martyrdom of the grandson of Prophet Mohammed, Imam Hussain who lost his life in a battle in 680 AD.
